Hello! I’m Regina Naval and I happened to chance upon your blog, which seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I’m working on a project of the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority called Gawad Panitikan Pangkalusugan, which aims to promote literacy and health education nationwide. As we have similar goals, I was wondering if you’d be interesting in helping us promote our project further.
Our project, which is now on its second leg, bears the theme “Luksong Tinik: Kwentong Kaligtasan Para sa Kabataan,” as it centers on child safety. It all started last December when we gathered original works through a storybook writing competition. Now that we have our winning entries, we are in the process of publishing the illustrated books. As we aim to distribute these books to primary schools nationwide, we are currently looking for sponsors who are willing to finance the publication of these books through our Pledge for Health Campaign. Basically, for every P700 pledge, the donor is entitled to two sets of books: one set is donated to one of the Sorority’s beneficiaries while the other set is the donor’s to own. Each set contains 7 books with stories that teach children about safety in the home, in school, in cyberspace, in calamities and even in areas of armed conflict.
If you’re interested in our project, we will be having the awarding ceremony and book launch on December 10, 2012 at Robinson’s Place Manila Midtown from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Also, If you’d be willing to help us disseminate information on our Pledge for Health campaign by posting our poster on your blog or perhaps writing about our project, we would be extremely grateful.
You can reach me (Regina Naval) at 0917 8302636 if you would like to learn more or email me at naval.regina@yahoo.com.
Thank you very much! I look forward to hearing from you!
