Brief Description: All my life, I have looked to books and movies to escape from the mundane life of everyday things. Books for quiet moments when even the tiniest sounds can jar my most sensitive moods while movies for those when words and pictures are not enough to make me come alive with mirth, pain, passion and verve. Together, they are my sweet escape, the surrender that I’m wont to never regret. Without them, life is but an ordinary walk in the park–not much color, little splash.

This blog is about them – movies and books and the adventures they bring into my world (real or imaginary). A little sprinkling of life and how its treating me so far can also be found. Now, a word to the wise. Not everything here will suit the taste of even the least astute film or book critic, nevertheless these are my thoughts and much like everyone else, I am entitled to them. When I find/make time to read a book, I’ll probably write about what struck me most about it. (And for those who wonder, “polilla de libros” is “bookworm” in Spanish.)
