Filipino Friday 11

Hello fellow Filipino bloggers! It’s Friday again and it’s the start of a new month. Thanks again to everyone who attended the first ever meet up. You can see the links to each blogger’s write-up here. I was thinking we should probably have another meet up before the year ends, probably in November because people are really busy during December. Let me know when you guys want to have it. I asked Fully Booked if we can use Forum, the function room in the fourth floor of their Fort branch. We have permission to meet there for free, we just need to inform Fully Booked when the meet up is once the details are finalized. That’s definitely a better place for discussion. Are you all okay with that venue? If not, where do you want to meet up?

For this week’s Filipino Friday, since there are only a couple of months left in 2010, I want to know – is there a book that you’re eagerly waiting for that will be released in the remaining months of the year? Let us know about it!

Happy weekend, everyone! Enjoy the start of October.

hmm. that’s a tough question. the books i’m eagerly waiting for don’t have release dates yet:
    – “scorpia rising” by anthony horowitz
    – the last gatekeepers/power of five book
    – the last of the inheritance cycle

The fifth book of gatekeepers is sure building up a lot of suspense. Horowitz didn’t finished it on the original run of the series and now, he is telling that it’ll take years before he finish it.

Since I love art fiction and Susan Vreeland, I’m looking forward to “Clara and Mr. Tiffany”. It will be out in January 2011. ^_^ Yey!
